The Perth District Health Unit is cracking down on students who don’t have their immunization records up-to-date.
On Tuesday, PDHU officials say 98 school suspension orders were mailed out to Perth County students who don’t have up-to-date records.
This school year, Public Health Nurses say they have reviewed and assessed 12,833 immunization records for students in Perth County with the suspension orders taking effect on Tuesday, May 28th.
Students who don’t have up-to-date records submitted by that date won’t be allowed to attend school but officials say there is still time to avoid suspension.
