‘Borrow the internet’ at the Stratford Public Library

You can now borrow the internet from the Stratford Public Libary.

As part of a two-year pilot project, library members can now access the internet 24 hours a day and 7 days a week by borrowing a free mobile hot spot from the library.

Staff at the library say customers can place the Wi-Fi hotspots on hold, and borrow the devices for 1 week.

There are 10 mobile hotspots available and each hotspot is capable of connecting up to 15 devices at once.

Staff say the goal of the Borrow the Internet project is to extend internet access and to close the digital divide in Perth County.
