The work continues on developing the Grand Trunk Community Hub in Stratford.
At their regular meeting Monday night, Stratford City Council approved a budget for up to $55=thousand for completing the work on a grant application for the hub.
At a meeting on September 16th, council adopted a resolution identifying the hub as their priority project under the Community Culture and Recreation Stream of the Canada Infrastructure Program.
The application must be in by November and the money to complete it is being taken from the city’s reserves with no impact on the 2019 budget.
