Two people arrested in Perth County in separate outstanding warrant investigations

Perth County OPP says two people have been arrested on outstanding warrants in the area in separate investigations.

The first happened in the early morning hours on Monday when police were called to a rural residence south of Milverton over an unwanted person.

Police say they found a 38-year-old Milverton man hiding in the bathroom of a motor home and he was arrested on outstanding warrants including Fail to Comply with a Probation Order.

He was kept in custody for a bail hearing in Stratford.

Then on Tuesday, police were called out in the early morning about a suspicious person on a bicycle in Listowel.

A 33-year-old man with no fixed address was arrested on outstanding warrants including possessing meth and theft under $5-thousand.

He is scheduled to appear in court in Stratford on November 4th.
