International Women’s March being held in Stratford

Stratford continues to fight for women’s human rights.

International Women’s Marches are being held all over on Saturday including in our city.

Organizers say the march is brief, inclusive and positive and it starts off from the steps of Stratford City Hall at 10 o’clock in the morning.

Those who plan to take part are being asked to make sure they observe all traffic signals.

The march taking place in Stratford is one of 40 similar events taking place in 21 countries globally.

This year, the theme of the event is bodily autonomy which is the right to self-governance over one’s own body.
