Students in Elementary schools in the Avon Maitland District School Board will be out of class on Thursday.
On Saturday, the Elementary Teachers Federation of Ontario announced that it is holding a one-day rotating strike.
That means students at elementary schools in kindergarten to grade 8 will be off that day as will 7/8 students in secondary schools.
Students in grades 9 to 12 aren’t impacted by the strike.
Meanwhile, the Ontario English Catholic Teacher’s Association has announced a full withdrawal of services for Tuesday meaning students that go to Catholic schools in Huron-Perth will have the day off.
