Douglas Drinkwalter passed away at Wildwood Care Centre, St. Marys, on July 21, 2014 at the age of 81. Beloved husband of the late Gloria (Elliott) who predeceased him in 2010. Loving father of Lynn Bickell of Kirkton, Paul Drinkwalter and Denise of Tavistock, and Karen Godwin and Colin of Vancouver. Proud grandfather of Jenna, Jessica (Mark Dietrich), Jacob (Caitlin Fergusson), Alexandra (Jon Lebold), Cassaundra, Connor, Isaac, Andrew, Natalie and Naomi and great-grandchild Lilah Bickell. Dear brother of Coreen Smith of St. Marys. Brother-in-law of Eleanor Drinkwalter, Marie Kelly and Keith of Rodney and Beulah Eckert of Stratford. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Visitation at the Andrew L Hodges Funeral Home, 47 Wellington Street South, St. Marys, on Sunday, July 27, from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9p.m. The funeral service will be conducted at the ST. MARYS PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, 147 Widder St. E., St. Marys, on Monday, July 28, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. Burial to follow in St. Marys Cemetery.
