Perth County OPP says $13-thousand worth of cocaine is off the streets following a traffic stop in Listowel.
Shortly after 2:00 o’clock Wednesday afternoon, a Perth County OPP officer stopped a pick-up truck in the town.
Police say the driver of the pick-up was arrested for possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking.
Additionally, the pick-up truck was seized as offense related property.
The man has been charged with Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine.
He’s been released from custody and is scheduled to appear in court in Stratford in the future.
