A 44-year-old man faces weapons-related charges after police say he assaulted victims with a weapon.
Around 4 o’clock last Thursday afternoon, Perth County OPP says they were called to a parking lot off of Inkerman Street West, in Listowel for a person threatening the victims with a knife.
They say the suspect was known to police and was located and arrested a short distance away.
He’s been charged with two counts of Assault With a Weapon and Uttering Threats.
He has a future court appearance in Stratford.
