AMDSB asking for family feedback on what school should look like in September

The Avon Maitland District School Board is looking for feedback on what school should look like in September.

Ontario  Minister of Education Stephen Lecce has outlined three models for what school could be comprised of, given the situation at the time, which are a normal school day routine with enhanced public health protocols, a Modified school day routine based on smaller class sizes, cohorting and alternative day or week delivery, and a at-home learning with ongoing enhanced remote delivery.

The AMDSB says the Minister believes the modified version will likely be the method chosen and they are already planning the details for the hybrid model. To gather feedback from families, they have created an online survey.

They say the information provided will be invaluable as they prepare for the next school year.
