There are no new cases of COVID-19 in Huron Perth.
Updated data released by Huron Perth Public Health Monday morning shows the overall number of cases remains at 58.
The latest case, in an asymptomatic person in Perth County, was added on Friday.
Huron Perth Medical Officer of Health Dr. Miriam Klassen said in a teleconference Monday afternoon that HPPH had to rule out a false-positive result in that case before retesting.
She says the person is self-isolating at home.
Five people have died from the virus in the region while 52 have recovered.
Another 393 people have been tested for COVID-19 in Huron Perth bringing the number of those tested to 9,146.
