Police say one person is facing serious charges after a domestic dispute ended with a fight with officers.
Shortly after 6 o’clock in the evening on July 4th, Perth County OPP says they were called to a home on Barber Avenue North, in Listowel, for a domestic dispute.
Upon arriving at the home, police say it was determined that one person was failing to comply with conditions of a release order, and they were advised they were under arrest.
They say the person resisted arrest, assaulted police, and then tried to disarm an officer.
The 40-year-old faces numerous charges including Assaulting a Peace Officer and Disarming a Peace Officer.
