Middlesex County OPP says they are searching for a person who was impersonating a police officer.
They say they received a complaint around noon on Sunday from a plow operator who had been stopped at the intersection of Highway 7 and Clarke Road.
The snow plow operator described the person as a white male with a thin build, late 20’s or early 30’s in age with blonde hair and goatee.
They say he had a sleeve tattoos to the wrists in dark ink and was wearing a dark t-shirt with “POLICE” in yellow lettering on the chest and three chevrons on each shoulder.
He also had a radio with a microphone on his upper chest and a police-style duty belt.
The suspect’s vehicle is described as a dark-coloured SUV with red and blue flashing lights on the front grill and windshield without a front push bar or any police service markings.
Anyone with information on the suspect is asked to call Middlesex County OPP or Crime Stoppers.
