New accessible bus shelters being installed around Stratford

New accessible bus shelters are set to be installed around Stratford in the coming weeks.

City officials say the work is scheduled to begin on Monday and it will take four to six weeks to complete.

During the installation of the shelters, courtesy stops will be provided as close as possible to the bus stops, where it is safe to do so.

New shelters and accessible concrete pads will be installed at or near the following locations:
• Zehrs (old shelter to be removed and a new concrete pad and larger shelter to be installed)
• Ontario St. near Canadian Tire gas bar
• John St. N. at Charles St.
• Greenwood Dr. at Campbell Crt.
• Graff Ave. at Kemp Cres.
• Ontario St. near Shopper’s Drug Mart
• Norfolk St. at Borden St.
• Downie St. near Foodland
• Monteith Ave. near Stackpole
• Dunn Rd. at Packham Ave.
• Wright Blvd. near Scotiabank
• Service Canada
• Waterloo St. near Features
