Municipal elections are coming up next year.
If you’re interested in running in the Perth East election the nomination period opens on January 2nd.
Nomination forms are available online or at the Clerk’s Office at 25 Mill Street East in Milverton.
The nomination period closes on September 12th at 2:00 p.m.
Voting day is set for October 27th.
Nomination papers must be accompanied by a filing fee of $200.00 (nominations for Mayor) or $100.00 (all other nominations) in cash, debit, certified cheque or money order payable to the Township of Perth East.
