Police are searching for a suspect and a vehicle after a collision in Mitchell.
Just after 11 o’clock Thursday morning, first responders were called to a collision at the intersection of St George Street and Ontario Road.
Perth County OPP says a car collided with a transport truck and the driver of the car then fled the scene on foot.
The car, which was recovered, is believed to have been stolen from Wellington County.
It’s believed the suspect then stole another vehicle that was left running on Toronto Street East.
The suspect is described as a white male, in his 30s with a short, slim build and was wearing a black coat and sunglasses.
The stolen vehicle that is described as a grey Ford F150 pick-up truck with a Illinois licence plate and a crew cab with tinted windows on the back and sides.
