Barbara Ann Aitcheson, age 78, of Stratford, passed away with her family by her side on Sunday, April 10 2022 at Stratford General Hospital. Born in Stratford, daughter of the late James and Margaret (Tobin) Bain. Barb was predeceased by her true love and best friend, Harvey Allan Aitcheson Oct 6, 2004. Proud and loving mother of Terry (Jane) Aitcheson and Julie (Mark) Elwess. The greatest grandmother of Brady Barker, Lauren Barker, Franny (Brent) Kipfer, Rachel Aitcheson and Arianna Elwess. Barb will be fondly remembered by her sisters-in-law Nancy Kellum, Marilyn Hooper (Don Taylor), Aileen Noble and her nieces Lynn Humphrey, Lori Brown and Sue Bain (Denni). Barb was a wonderful wife, a doting mother and fabulous grandmother and friend to many. Barb and Harv loved life, the many trips, there pool parties on Mowat Street all so many great memoires. Barb never turned down a trip to a casino, or a lunch at the ANAF or a dinner out with the ladies. She may be gone but she will not be forgotten. Besides her husband Harvey and her parents, Barb was predeceased by her mother and father-in-law Ella and Allan Aitcheson, her brothers Bill (Nancy) Bain, Donald Bain, Joe Bain and her brother in-law Jack Kellum. A celebration of Barb’s life will be held on Thursday, April 14, from 1-4 p.m. at the Stratford Country Club, 53 Romeo St, N, Stratford. In lieu of flowers and as expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Stratford General Hospital Foundation or Rotary Hospice Stratford Perth through the W. G.
