Heavy damage caused after fire at Stratford pub

Officials say repairs and renovations will be extensive after a fire at a former Stratford pub.

Stratford Fire Chief John Paradis tells MyStratfordNow.com a passerby noticed smoke coming from Molly Bloom’s Irish Pub around 6:30 Tuesday morning.

Firefighters were quickly on scene and the blaze was put out just before 9 o’clock.

The building is currently undergoing renovations.

Just what sparked the fire and dollar figure for the damage caused has yet to be determined.
