HAPPENING NOW: Missing Stratford girl located safe

UPDATE: 6:34 P.M. Tuesday

Stratford Police say a missing Stratford girl has been located safe.

SPS with the assistance of the Ontario Provincial Police and York Regional Police located missing 11-year-old Emily Lerch.

The investigation is continuing.

UPDATE: 6:01 P.M. Tuesday

An Amber Alert has now been issued for Emily Lerch.

She was last seen Tuesday morning around the Rotary Complex on McCarthy Road.

She’s described as 5’0 tall with a thin build and was wearing a black top with a Jurassic Park logo, black shorts, black shoes, and glasses.

Stratford Police is asking anyone who lives in the Rotary Complex area and has doorbell cameras to check their footage for any signs of Lerch.

In particular, they are looking for footage between 9:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.

Anyone with information is asked to call 9-1-1.
