Ottawa contributing over $3 million to Optimism Place expansion

Stratford’s Optimism Place is getting federal funding to help with their expansion plans.

Ottawa is contributing nearly $3.4 million through its National Housing Co-Investment Fund to support the shelter’s 15-bed, 6,000 square foot expansion at its location on Freeland Drive.

The City of Stratford and Perth County are also contributing to the shelter’s $5 million expansion.
