Perth County OPP has laid numerous charges against a 36-year-old Wingham man after they say he rammed a police cruiser while driving a stolen vehicle.
Police say they were investigating stolen plates attached to a parked vehicle at a business on Road 164 in North Perth just before 8 o’clock Saturday night.
The driver of the vehicle then allegedly rammed the police cruiser twice and another parked car before he fled on foot.
A vehicle check revealed the vehicle was also stolen.
The suspect has now been charged with offences including Assault A Peace Officer with a weapon and Flight from peace officer.
