A little less scheduling and a lot more family time.
That’s what Stratford Mayor Dan Mathieson says he’s looking forward to as he nears the end of his fifth term in the position.
Mathieson held his 15th and final Community Breakfast at the Best Western Plus The Arden Park Hotel on Thursday morning where he thanked the community for their support during his time in office.
Mathieson says he will still be a strong supporter of the city moving forward.
“I’m still committed to this community as a resident and a life-long person here and my family was born and raised here, I just keep reminding myself that I’m still going to be a part of these things I’m just going to take a different spot on the team.”
As for what the future will bring, Mathieson says he has a few things on the horizon and he will have more to say on those as the new year approaches.
