On Saturday it will close at 5:00 pm and reopen again at 7:00 am on Sunday and resume regular hours.
Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance says it is because of a shortage of staff.
Anyone needing immediate assistance should call 9-1-1. Paramedics will be on duty and will reroute anyone needing medical attention to the closest available emergency department.
The closest 24-hour Emergency Departments* to the Seaforth Community Hospital are:
- Goderich – Alexandra Marine & General Hospital
- Exeter – South Huron Hospital
- Stratford – HPHA– Stratford General Hospital
