Police: Stratford man charged after committing indecent act in public

A 45-year-old Stratford man faces charges after police say he was caught committing an indecent act in public.

Just before 8:30 Friday night, Stratford Police say they received a report of the man committing the act while peeping through the window of a residence on Forman Avenue.

Two teenage females with a toddler in the residence reported the man after they saw him.

The suspect was eventually tracked down at a property on West Gore Street and arrested.

He was found to be in possession of approximately 1.5 grams of meth and has now been charged with offences including Committing an Indecent Act and Voyeurism.

He’s scheduled to be in court on April 3rd.
