Indigenous Stories & Art

Let’s read and learn about Indigenous peoples in Canada! This program provides participants with an opportunity to learn and grow together by exploring Indigenous stories and crafts.

Participants will learn about the experiences and perspectives of Indigenous people and creatively express their understanding. They will embark on a learning journey about Indigenous history through exploring art pieces and story-telling. Thank you to Patsy Day, Indigenous Teacher, Turtle Clan, Oneida Nation who has kindly shared her teachings and resources to be included in this program.

Kits for this program will be available for curbside pickup on July 2nd. The materials in your kits will be used throughout the sessions for the art activities and will be yours to keep!
