Book Drop and Swap

A book is a very special thing and passing it on to someone else is like giving a gift! Join us in keeping items out of our landfill while helping your books find new life. No money required!Special thanks to the Stratford Reads facebook group for partnering with us on this event!
Win a prize! Show us your library card or sign up for a new one to be entered into a draw for an SPL tote bag prize pack! You do not need a library card to participate in the book swap.
How it works:
The DROP | Feb 10: You may drop off gently-used books in the Library Auditorium (top floor) on Feb 10 between 10-4. When you drop off a book, you will receive an “early bird” voucher for the swap the following day.
The SWAP | Feb 11: Those who donated to the Drop n Swap will be admitted to the “early bird” timeslot from 10-11 AM. General admission is from 11-4. You do not need to donate to participate. Come pick out new books!

What to Bring: Please bring only treasures to donate. We’re accepting fiction and non-fiction in any language including Young Adult and Children’s (except board books) as well as audiobooks.
What not to Bring: We cannot accept books that are out of date, dirty, or damaged. Additionally, please do not donate magazines, encyclopedias, textbooks, board books, DVDs or music CDs.
