Hockey Watch Party for Canada vs. Czechia at Army Navy and Air Force Veterans Hall

L’ Arche Stratford is planning a fun morning of hockey to support people in need.

A hockey watch party runs Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at the Army Navy and Air Force Veterans Hall, with the goal of raising funds for the L’ Arche Solidarity Fund.

Residents can watch Team Canada take on Czechia.

L’ Arche said the fund supports communities facing economic hardship, food insecurity, political instability, natural disasters, and war across the globe, with the event focusing on supporting people in Honduras.

L’ Arche’s Christopher Cantlon said with the Army, Navy, Air Force Veterans donating the space and Black Angus Bakery providing lunch, it makes the process more communal.

Admission is by donation.
