Roads reopen after watermain break fixed near Tom Patterson theatre

A watermain break at the intersection of Waterloo Street and Water Street led to some traffic headaches for city residents on Wednesday but roads have now reopened in the area.

The city said earlier today that Water Street, from Veterans Drive to Nile Street, and Waterloo Street from Cobourg Street to Lakeside Drive, were closed for repairs.

By midafternoon the road was reopen.

The city adds that residents in the area of Waterloo Street between Lakeside Drive and Ontario Street, as well as Ontario Street between Nile Street and Waterloo Street, may have experienced a temporary loss of water service.
