Stratford Perth Museum to get taste of bluegrass tunes Sunday

An award-winning bluegrass band are performing in Stratford in support of Stratford Perth Museum.

The museum is hosting The Barrel Boys: Bluegrass Matinee this Sunday starting at 2 p.m., with a portion of proceeds going towards the organization.

On the band’s website, the music of Barrel Boys is described as a mix of classic bluegrass, old-time, country, and Americana.

Museum officials said the performance comes as the band is nominated for Vocal Group of the Year and Traditional Album of the Year at the 2026 Canadian Folk Music Award nominations.

The show includes craft beer, drinks, snacks, and Bluegrass Sweet Tea.

It will take place at the Co-operators Performance Theatre in the museum.
