Tinkle break turns into impaired charge for Cambridge resident

A 68-year-old man was charged with driving while impaired after OPP spotted him urinating near his vehicle on the shoulder of Perth Line 33.

Police say they saw the Cambridge man relieving himself shortly after 10 p.m. on Tuesday. It was determined the male was the driver of the vehicle and he displayed signs of alcohol impairment.

The driver was also handed a Liquor Licence Control Act charge for having open alcohol in his vehicle.

A 90-day drivers licence suspension and seven day motor vehicle impoundment were also imposed.
