Music lovers should circle Wednesday and Sunday nights on their calendars.
The Kiwanis Club Concerts in the Park Series starts Sunday, June 21.
The free concerts running until Sept. 2 include performances from Stratford Concert Band, Our Little Band, Guelph Concert Band, and the Kitchener Musical Society Band among others at Upper Queen’s Park.
Stratford Concert Band conductor Laurence Gauci said they will perform on Wednesdays, except for Canada Day.
“It’s been something this band has been doing in this form or another for 50 years.”
The music they’ll play include popular music, marches, medleys, and more serious pieces.
“Each night you come, you’re not going to hear the same piece twice.”
Stratford Concert Band’s performances start at 7 p.m.
