Docs on Ice coming to Perth-Huron to support United Housing

Doctors across Ontario will compete in Perth and Huron counties to help ensure the homeless can attain affordable housing.

United Way Perth-Huron announced that Docs on Ice, the largest doctor-only hockey tournament in North America, is hosting some games in Stratford, St. Marys, Tavistock and New Hamburg next spring.

Staff said the tournament will raise funds for United Housing, which focuses on building and operating mixed rental units.

CEO Ryan Erb said they’re very grateful to get this support from Docs on Ice.

Tournament co-chairs Dr. Tristan Walker and Dr. Tyler Rouse said it’s an opportunity to support an important local cause and celebrate the community they both love.

The matches will take place from March 30 to April 1, 2028.
