UPDATE: Watermain break on York Street fixed

Water service has been restored on York Street following a recent watermain break.

Just before 11 a.m. today (Nov. 5), the city said the break disrupted water service in the area, impacting properties and businesses.

An excavator, three trucks and a tanker were at the scene in the afternoon, with a crew working to repair the watermain.

Staff said a portion of York Street between the parking lot and Huron Street will still be closed while the crew finish up work.
