Council Set to Make Final Decision on 48 Water Street on January 29th

Stratford City Council has declared its intent to make 48 Water Street surplus.

Council made the decision on Wednesday night as part of a special council meeting called after the public had a chance to weigh in on Monday.

The area contains the current Tom Patterson Theatre along with the Stratford Lawn Bowling Club and the Kiwanis Community Centre.

With the property declared surplus the city is able to dispose of the land either by outright selling it or leasing it.

The land is set to be used as part of the redevelopment of the Tom Patterson Theatre by the Stratford Festival.

Council will deliver its final decision on Monday, January 29th at 5:30pm in City Hall.
