UPDATE:
The Special Investigations Unit has been called into to investigate a crash involving one vehicle on Norfolk Street in Stratford.
The SIU says officers from Stratford Police attempted to pull a vehicle over around 3:00am this morning, the vehicle didn’t initially stop and ended up colliding with a tree.
The agency says the driver fled the scene, leaving three other passengers inside the SUV.
A 21-year-old woman was seriously hurt in the incident.

Stratford Police have closed off an area along Norfolk Street between Downie and Laurier.
Acting Deputy Chief of Police Sam Theocharis says an investigation is being carried out on Norfolk.
Police are asking drivers to steer clear of the area on their morning commute while officers conduct their investigation.
