Two incidents of student driving less than an hour apart in Perth County are leading the OPP to cracking down on speeders.
Officers had a busy Sunday morning shortly after 1:00am when the first driver was nabbed in North Perth doing double the speed limit.
The second, in Perth East had officers chasing down another vehicle travelling just as fast as the first.
Both drivers have had their licenses suspended and vehicles taken off the road for seven days.
Constable Laura Lee Brown says police have noticed a spike in bad driver behaviour and collisions on Perth County roads as a result, especially in the winter time.
