Reports of another scam targeting churches in the area

You’re being warned about another scam targetting churches in the area.

The scams are targetting members of the St.John’s Lutheran Churches in Wartburg and Seebach’s Hill, according to church Pastor William Kramer.

He says there have been reports of members of the congregations receiving phone calls soliciting money for alleged church donations. 

The caller has details about Pastor Kramer himself, as well as details about members of the church, which makes the caller very believable.

Pastor Kramer advises that the church does not contact members by telephone, text, or email for donations.
