Two upcoming events will support local animals.
The semi-annual vinyl/record sale takes place Saturday at the Army Navy and Airforce Veterans Hall, with more than 20,000 records to choose from.
CDs will also be available at the event.
Record dealer Jim Fewer told MyStratfordNow funds are being raised for the Humane Society of Kitchener Waterloo & Stratford-Perth.
$700 was raised at the spring sale.
He said this sale will be a diverse get-together.
“You’re going to find new stuff, you’re going to find old stuff, it’s going to be a great way to pad your collection.”
Admission is by monetary donation. The event is scheduled to start at 10 a.m.
The second fundraiser on Oct. 30 is Meowmosa at Stratford Country Club from 6:30 p.m. until 11 p.m.
Humane society marketing & communications coordinator Breanna Langan said it will be a celebration of the spooky season.
“We’ve got a buffet dinner with some alcoholic drinks included, plus we’ve got some really fun-themed games, vendors, even a costume contest to enjoy throughout the night.”
Proceeds from tickets will help provide care for animals in need.
Tickets can be bought here.
