After worries that a Casino Shut down in Ajax could eventually Effect Perth County, MPP Randy Pettapiece has spoken up after new information surfaced this week on the potential closure.
Pettapiece slammed the government during Question Period yesterday over its apparent decision to remove the slots from Ajax Downs.
The move would likely spell the end of Quarter Horse racing in Ontario and put 1,700 good rural jobs at risk according to Pettapiece.
Pettapiece mentioned this exact scenario playing out two weeks ago, and showed concern over the future of other slots and casinos that exist in the Perth county area.
