A 41-year-old Seaforth man has been charged and approximately 45 pigs are dead after a rollover on Highway 7/8.
Police were called to transport truck that had rolled over near Nafziger Road just before 8 o’clock Monday morning.
The driver was transported to the hospital as a precaution and he’s now been charged with Careless Driving and for not wearing a seatbelt.
Police said Monday afternoon that around half of the 90 pigs being transported by the truck died in the rollover.
