Doors Open Stratford commemorating end of Second World War

You can experience Stratford’s connections to the Second World War next week.

Doors Open Stratford is set for Saturday, June 6th.  This year marks the 70th anniversary of the end of the war, which is explored in the theme of “Peace Returns: Reflections of 1945”.

12 local sites will be open to the public.  Each has a story to share about the war.  You’ll hear about Perth County War Brides, the Dutch Liberation, and parts production for Mosquito bombers.

Locations include City Hall, the Armoury, and St. James Anglican Church.  Visit www.visitstratford.ca/doorsopen for more information.
