A reminder from the police not to leave your vehicle running and unlocked without keeping an eye on it.
Huron County OPP says they were called out around 7:44 last Friday morning to a home on Kippen Road after the owner reported that his pickup truck was stolen from his laneway.
The owner said he left the vehicle to warm up in the driveway for a few minutes and when he came back it was stolen.
The truck is worth around $35,000 and is described as a 2015 dark grey Chevrolet Silverado, crew cab, with chrome running boards and a black front grill.
Anyone who knows anything about the theft is asked to call Huron County OPP or Crime Stoppers.
